Movember is back and ready to grow out. Are you?

When you hear the word “Movember” you probably think about throwing away your razors for the month, but it is much, much more than that. Movember is an organization that brings awareness and fights against men’s health problems (prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide, just to name a few). Their goal is to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25% by 2030.

They have come far since their early beginning in 2003 starting with 30 men to participate in growing out their facial hair in one country to fight against men’s prostate cancer. Now, Movember is well known in 20 countries, has 5,542,507 men and women supporters and has funded 1,250 men’s health projects over the years. And just last year in Canada they were able to raise $18.1 million and $98.6 million overall!

Over the years, Len Dubois Trucking has joined the Movember Movement by sharing a series of articles about Men’s Health. Awareness and information are two keys to the prevention and treatment of these life-threatening illnesses.

Use your thirty-minute break to read through the articles and help keep yourself healthy for life. Don’t forget to visit Movember Canda for more information about Men’s Health.
