  •  2.5 lbs flank steak
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 TBSP Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 TSP Chili Flakes
  • 3/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
  • 1 TBSP Grated Giner
  • 2 TBSP Olive Oil
  • 3/4 Cup Water
  • 3/4Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 Cup Grated Carrots


  1. Thinly slice flank steak against the grain put into zip lock bag and coat with cornstarch.
  2. Add garlic, chili flakes, brown sugar, grated ginger, olive oil, water, soy sauce into crock pot. Stir ingredients together
  3. Add coated steak to crock pot mixture and coat evenly with the sauce.
  4. Cook on high for 2 to 3 hours, until the steak is cooked through, adding carrots half an hour before cook time is complete.
  5. Serve over rice or noodles.
