Our drivers need to stay compliant and should be scaling their loads. We’ve made this easier for our drivers. As of Dec 1 our drivers can now pay for scales with company fuel cards. It’s not a big deal. It’s part of our efforts to make the job of our valued owner operators and company drivers a little more productive.
Our fleet is equipped with EZPass for tolls and our drivers can use Transflo to send paperwork to the office. These services save time and reduces the out of pocket expenses (which are reimbursed) of our drivers. Drivers are also authorized to purchase DEF at the pump on the fuel cards.
Other efforts to support our drivers in the field include:
- Dedicated customs & border professional. He can answer questions & drivers can send paperwork to him for smooth border crossings
- Driver services and safety professional. Provides continued training & is always available to answer questions about compliance & safety
- Pre-trip inspections, by our maintenance team, of power units when they arrive home to ensure proper maintenance
- Management has an open door to resolve issues from our valued team
