New Truck Stops & Truck Parking

New Love’s opens off I-25 north of Denver

The new 10,000 square-foot facility is located between Denver and Fort Collins is open 24/7 and has:

  • 82 truck parking spaces
  • laundry facilities
  • seven showers
  • Love’s Truck Tire Care center.
  • Subway restaurant
  • Taco John’s restaurant

Pilot Flying J adds three locations in Florida, Texas, Arizona – Pilot Flying J opened three new locations during August in Bartow, Florida; Odessa, Texas; and Tucson, Arizona. The new locations add a combined 140 truck parking spaces.

Truck parking problems in search of solutions in big cities – “Despite the difficulty in finding truck parking – especially because of the Hours of Service (HOS) requirements enforced by Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs) – there is room for optimism, according to those involved in the issue. However, they say the solution must be big and in the right places.”

Finding parking the top cause of stress for pro drivers – Truck parking availability in the U.S. improved in 2017, but finding a parking spot is the number one cause of stress for 85% of professional drivers.

Split Sleeper Schedule Could Save 2.3 Million Hours Of Drive Time And $150m Says Study – A new study from the American Transportation Research Institute claims that allowing drivers flexibility with their split sleeper schedule could result in significant savings of both time and money.
