Prepackaging healthy options for meals is a great way to get healthy meals over the road. Snacks, on the other hand, can be tricky. But with a little preparation, you can make a healthy snack on the go that will taste better than greasy chips or a salty snack. Plus, you’ll feel better physically.
New Take on Nachos
What you’ll need:
- 1 Apple thinly sliced
- 1 Pear thinly sliced
- 3/4 cup Cottage Cheese
- 1/2 Cup Oats and Honey Granola
- 1/2 Tablespoon Honey
Place cottage cheese over the apple and pear slices. Sprinkle granola over the fruit. Then, drizzle the honey over the fruit, oats and cottage cheese or substitute the honey with caramel.
