Trimble launched a COVID-19 Safe Haven website which features up-to-date info for truck parking and services. Book mark it in your browser and use it when planning your day to find the services you need.
The Ontario Ministry of Transportation has expanded the availability of truck parking and rest areas during the pandemic. You can find rest area locations and truck friendly restaurants through their interactive online map. It’s also available as an app for Android and IOS.
NATSO is an association representing truckstops and travel plazas in North America. They have an online directory with locations in the United States and Canada.
The Saskatchewan Trucking Association (STA) developed a guide with locations in Saskatchewan and contact info. It features some specific offers available to truck drivers. Check it when you’re going through Saskatchewan.
The AMTA is in the midst of informing Carriers and drivers of what rest area/restaurant facilities are open. They are tracking what facilities offer bathrooms, take-out, walk up drive-thrus and more. Visit the website to see the offers available to truck drivers.
National Truck Stop Chains
Each of the major truck stop chains has mobile apps available. Check the Apple Store and Google Play and search for the truck stop chains you want. You can visit them online too.
