Every year the Manitoba Trucking Association partners with the Special Olympics to hold the Worlds Largest Truck Convoy. It’s a great fundraising event that sees law enforcement join the effort by escorting the convoy of trucks around the Perimeter Highway.
If you haven’t seen the convoy on the move you’re missing out. The nearly 200 truck convoy is a feat of an army of volunteers and cooperation for a great cause.
The convoy is on September 10, 2016 from 11:00 – 3:00. The day starts with a pancake breakfast and registration at 8am at the Oak Bluff Recreation Centre. For more information go the Manitoba Trucking Association website here or the Manitoba Special Olympics website.
