Truckers to pay more as Pennsylvania Turnpike tolls increase in 2026 – “At a July 1 meeting, PTC members approved a 4% toll increase that will go into effect on January 4, 2026.”
Nearly 400 Commercial Vehicles Put Out of Service for Brake Violations – “Inspectors in 45 jurisdictions throughout Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. conducted 4,569 commercial motor vehicle inspections and placed 398 (8.7%) of those vehicles out of service due to brake-related violations as part of the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance’s Brake Safety Day.”
B.C. authorities put more than half of inspected trucks OOS during enforcement blitz – “The B.C. Highway Patrol and its partners placed more than half of the 109 commercial vehicles they inspected out of service (OSS) during a recent two-day enforcement blitz.”

Pilot continues to add new travel centers and improve existing ones – “Pilot continues to grow and improve its travel center network with new stores and remodelled locations.”
Ohio to Add 1,400 Long-term Truck Parking Spots – “Ohio is stepping up to help truck drivers by adding 1,400 new long-term parking spaces across the state. Governor Mike DeWine recently announced the plan, which will build new parking areas at 33 locations in 18 counties. The goal is to make Ohio the #1 state in the nation for public truck parking.”
