It’s the first day of winter break for the kiddies, and the start of some much needed time off for our drivers and their families. The holiday season is a busy time, but there is just so much to do in our beautiful city. This holiday season do something great with the entire family and make some memories.

The Club d`escalade de Saint-Boniface (CESB) Ice Climbing Tower

Every year since, 1996, a free standing ice climbing tower is flooded like a vertical hockey rink by the Club d’escalade Saint-Boniface right here in Winnipeg. The Ice Climbing Tower generally opens near the end of December and would be great fun for those of you who like adventure.

FortWhyte Alive

FortWhyte offers a variety of great outdoor winter activities that the whole family will enjoy. If you like ice fishing, snowshoeing, skating, Nordic Walking, X-country skiing, tobogganing, FortWhyte is the place to check out.

Adrenaline Adventures

Forget the toboggans – go snow tubing on specially groomed hills all winter long. Several tubing lanes are open featuring a variety of bumps and lots of speed, extreme snow tubing lanes are also available. Best part is tow ropes pull you back to the top, so no more walking up hill!
