Len Dubois Trucking will, once again, be participating in The World’s Largest Truck Convoy 2014 in Winnipeg, MB!
September is coming up fast! It’s time to register for The World’s Largest Truck Convoy on September 6, 2014.
This is a spectacular event, organized by the Manitoba Trucking Association, which brings truck drivers, trucking companies, law enforcement, and many great companies in the trucking industry together to raise money for The Special Olympics. This years Convoy is the 10th anniversary, in Canada, and has legs in Ontario, Alberta, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.
World’s Largest Convoy started in Florida in 2000 as a fundraiser. Since then it has become an annual tradition all over North America and donations have climbed over $300,000.
We’ve had the pleasure of participating for several years and it’s a great event. Last year the Manitoba leg had over 170 trucks in the convoy. It’s an impressive site to see that many trucks rolling on the perimeter highway. It’s for a great cause and it’s a great time.
